Cocoa & Ginger Energy Balls

Serves 25 energy balls|Takes 20 mins

INGREDIENTS:

40g Flahavan’s Organic Porridge Oats

80g Brazil nuts

60g Medjool dates

1 heaped tbsp. cocoa powder

1 tbsp. almond butter

1 cm of stem ginger

30g hemp seeds

METHOD:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
  2. Place the Brazil nuts and Flahavan’s Organic Porridge Oats on a baking tray and toast in the oven for 6-8 minutes until fragrant and lightly toasted
  3. Add the nuts and oats to a food processor and process until you have a fine powder, then add the remaining ingredients (except the hemp seeds) and whizz until the mixture comes together
  4. Roll the mixture into 25 small balls then place the hemp seeds on a plate and roll the balls to coat
  5. Store in the fridge for 4-5 days or freeze for up to 1 month
